TRAIN AND BUS

Pescasseroli can be reached by train, there is a stop along the ROMA-AVEZZANO-PESCARA track. If you catch this train, get off at the train station of Avezzano and from here catch an ARPA bus directed to Pescasseroli.

If you are travelling on the NAPOLI-CASTEL di SANGRO-PESCARA line, get off either at the train station of Castel di Sangro or Alfedena and from there catch any ARPA bus directed to Pescasseroli.

FROM ROME

Join the A24 freeway towards Pescara until you get to the junction to Pescina. Take the Sr83 Marsicana towards Gioia dei Marsi. Once you got to the town of Gioia Vecchio crossed the so called Passo del Diavolo and you’ll reach the destination straight after.
Alternatively, once you get to Pescina, you can take the Sp17 towards Ortona dei Marsi and from here, keep going for 25 Km, until you get to Pescasseroli.

FROM NAPLES

Prendere l’autostrada A1 fino al casello di Caianello ed una volta usciti immettersi nella Ss85 per Venafro. Prosegui con la Sr83 per Alfedena, Barrea, Villetta Barrea, Opi e Pescasseroli.
Come percorso alternativo percorrere l’autostrada A1 fino al casello di Cassino per poi procedere sulla Ss 509 verso il valico di Forca d’Acero. Una volta arrivati al bivio di Opi proseguire per altri 6 km per Pescasseroli.

FROM PESCARA

Take the A25 towards Roma-Teramo until you get to Pescina. Keep on the Sr83 Marsicana towards Gioia dei Marsi. Once you got to Gioia Vecchio, cross he so called Passo del Diavolo until you reach your destination.
Alternatively, once you reach the junction with Pescina , you can take the Sp 17 towards Ortona dei Marsi and from here you can do 25 Km until you reach Pescasseroli.
